Arlington County is proposing establishing a Capital Bikeshare station across the street from the Target store on the NW corner of Wilson and Oak.

The proposal by Arlington County will reduce the width of the sidewalk at Oak and Wilson, one of the heaviest traveled sidewalks in our neighborhood.

Long term, it might make sense to preserve the sidewalk and locate the BikeShare station across Oak Street as part of the planned redevelopment of that block.
