We have experienced 2 more robberies in the Second Police District. The first robbery is believed to be related to our ongoing series, the second appears to be unrelated. - January 26th, , 1am, 1000 block of N. Barton St.: the female victim was approached from behind by two black male suspects who took the victim's purse after a struggle. - January 28th , 5:20pm, parking garage at Pentagon City Mall: the female victim was sitting in her vehicle in the parking garage when a black male suspect produced a handgun and demanded her vehicle. The suspect punched the victim in the jaw. The victim was able to run away and her vehicle was not taken. This robbery series is our #1 priority. We have deployed a myriad of resources to address it. Detectives continue to work on some strong leads. Brian Captain Brian M.
