Arlington County has asked us to pass on this information: There is a dimming issue on many of our street lights across the County. The problem stems from a cable line being cut on a County facility by a third-party. The line controls the dimming of lights. This is not a safety issue, but residents may notice the lights are brighter than normal. We are actively working with our contractor to repair the issue as soon as possible, and are hopeful that the dimming will be fully functioning by the middle of next week, the week of January 26th. However, if complications arise, repairs may take longer. Please visit the County’s Street Lights webpage for updates on the progress. We greatly apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience. Bonnie A.
