1601 Wilson Blvd, Arlington, VA 5:30-7:00p.m., Wednesday, June 24, 2015 Dear Wilson School Neighbor: The design process for the new construction at the Wilson Site is proceeding on schedule. The concept design is scheduled to be submitted for the School Board approval in August 2015. Our Building Level Planning Committee (BLPC) and the Public Facilities Review Committee (PFRC) meet regularly with Arlington Public Schools Design and Construction staff and the design team to develop the project. All presentations to the BLPC and PFRC are posted online at: http://www.apsva.us/Page/29273. Now we have an opportunity for all of our neighbors to view the progress. Please join us for a gallery walk on Wednesday, June 24th between 5:30 and 7:00 p.m. in the Wilson School multipurpose room to view the various concept designs and other relevant information for the new construction at the Wilson Site for H-B Woodlawn and Stratford programs. Members of the design team and APS staff will be stationed near illustrations on various aspects of the project to receive comments and answer questions. County and School Board members have been invited to the gallery walk as well. We sincerely hope that you and your neighbors will be able to attend this meeting to learn about the siting and massing options for the project. If you have any questions please contact me by phone at 703.228.6622 or via email at jennifer.xu @apsva.us. Sincerely, Jennifer Xu, PhD. AIA, LEED AP Project Manager, Design and Construction | |||
