Thanks to a lot of work from many association members, we had a very successful and well-attended candidate's night last month with our new County Board Member, J. Walter Tejada, and his then-opponent, Mike Clancy. The previous month, we had a very engaging general membership meeting with the Arlington Civic Federation's Immediate Past President, Jim Pebley, and county vector and rodent control expert Bill Robbins. We are looking forward to following these successes up with a terrific spring meeting.
As you may know, North Rosslyn has been working to improve the conditions in and around the Wilson School and to smooth the transition as the Glebe Elementary student body prepares to move in. For this reason, we are delighted that Arlington School Board Member Dave Foster has agreed to address our civic association, and discuss our concerns, at our upcoming spring general membership meeting. We will hold the meeting on Sunday, April 13, at 7:00 pm, in the Atrium Condominium community room. Glebe Elementary is likely to send a representative to the meeting as well. I hope to see you there.
