Kids playing at Wilson

This past Friday afternoon, the Childhood Development Center (current tenants at Wilson) held a small party for their preschool program - including a petting zoo and pony ride.

The overall status of the Wilson playfield is shameful. For almost a century that playfield was the central (and only) family recreation resource for our urban neighborhood. Today it is poorly maintained, and is split and diminished by a row of trailers.

Nevertheless, it’s awfully nice, even hopeful, to see kids playing out there.
