To whom it may concern: Coming to the County Board in September there is a five year review of a site plan amendment for SP #25 (Waterview/Hotel Meridien at 1111 19th Street North) for conversion of a retail space to office use. The 2002 site plan amendment for Waterview required a 900 square foot retail space on 19th Street North adjacent to the hotel lobby. The retail space had a short lived wine and cheese shop after opening. In 2009, the hotel requested that the shop be converted to office space for five years. An extension of the office use was approved for an additional 5 years in 2014. Please let me know if the Civic Association has any questions or comments.
