The County Board approved the Realize Rosslyn plan in the early hours of today. They worked from the July 1 draft. The Planning Commission wrote a letter objecting to the use of the July 16 plan presented by staff to the Board for approval, as it contained changes that the community had not had the opportunity to discuss or comment upon. The main point of contention between the community and the business/developer community was the inclusion of a provision that allowed building to be built to 10+ FAR( floor area ratio). The wording was added to make it slightly less likely that building would routinely come in asking for FAR 10+. | ||
