The Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC), the County's food pantry is currently experiencing record demand for our services. In July 2013, AFAC served an average of 1,430 families each week. Now, we are serving almost 2,000 families each week. On average, we have approximately 2,300 active referrals at any particular point in time; however, since November 2013, the number of active referrals has grown 30% -- from 2,406 to a current total of 3,100 families. This is by far the highest number of active referrals AFAC has ever had.


AFAC cannot respond to the rising client numbers without your support. Please consider helping AFAC feed our neighbors in need by attending this year’s Spring Carnival. On Thursday, May 29, 2014, join us in fulfilling our mission to make sure no family that comes to AFAC goes away hungry.



AFAC's Spring Carnival travels to Paris for a turn-of-the-century cabaret. Join us and be entranced by stunning aerialists, splendorous acrobats, sumptuous bouchées, and of course Can-Can!

Illusionist Max Major returns to guide us as we explore the sidewalks and showcase of La Belle Epoque--all to help feed our neighbors in need.
