1. Cultural Center
John Seal (chair: Arlington Arts Commission) tells me that the entire membership of NRCA is welcome to attend a preview of the Arlington Cultural Center in Rosslyn. There's a pretty good description of the event at:

2. Candidate Forum cosponsored with Radnor Fort Myer Heights Civic Association (RAFOM)
We'll hear candidates running in the upcoming (November) general elections present their ideas and respond to questions. NRCA will first hold a short business meeting at 6:30, and then we will regroup (around 7PM) with RAFOM to hear candidates for County Board, General Assembly and School Board.
Note, both the NRCA meeting and the candidate forum will held be at The Belvedere, 1600 North Oak, just a few blocks south of The Atrium.
