I am delighted to announce that this fall North Rosslyn will host one of this year's official Arlington County Board debates. On October 26, all four candidates for the two contested County Board seats will square off at 7:00 pm in the Atrium community room. Chairman Paul Ferguson, Board member Walter Tejada, Republican challenger Rich Kelsey, and Independent challenger Sarah Summerville have all confirmed their participation. It will be another four years before Arlington has two Board seats scheduled for election, so this should be an important event. The timing of our event -- immediately before the election -- should make this debate particularly important and memorable.
