Although North Rosslyn residents expressed little support for the new Rosslyn-Court House shuttle (which will primarily benefit persons living south of 50 or north of 66), it was recently approved and is now in operation, as described in the following news release: RT Bus Now Offering Shuttle Service Between Rosslyn and Court House Arlington is now offering a new transit option for County residents living = in the Rosslyn-Courthouse areas. Residents in the Ft. Myer Heights, Radnor= Heights, Colonial Terrace, Colonial Village, and North Highland neighborho= ods can now take advantage of a new shuttle service in the Rosslyn and Cour= t House areas known as the ART 61 Rosslyn-Court House Metro Shuttle. The s= ervice runs two routes, Route A and Route B, every 10 minutes from 6-10 a.m= . and 3-7 p.m., weekdays. Arlington Board Chairman Paul Ferguson said, =93As part of the County= =92s commitment to mass transit, the shuttle is intended to encourage Metro= rail use among people who live too far away to walk to the stations. It al= so provides a needed service for those who would like to take advantage of = the benefits of alternative forms of transportation and contribute to the e= ffort to relieve congestion on County streets.=94 Route A runs a clockwise loop beginning at the Rosslyn Metro station an= d travels south to North Queen and 12th Street, west to Court House Metro, = and north to 21st Street and Scott Street. Route B runs a counterclockwise= loop also beginning at the Rosslyn Metro and continuing north and then wes= t to 21st Street and Scott Street, south to the Court House Metro and east = to North Queen and 12th Street. Both routes make 16 stops along the loop a= t the designated green and white ART bus stop signs.
