Check-out the Columbia Pike Blues Festival on June 15 and bring your children to the Festival’s Kids Zone for some fun! Sponsored by Dorchester Apartments, Dorchester Tower Apartments, Westmont Gardens & Oakland Apartments and hosted by the Patrick Henry Elementary School PTA, the Kids Zone will have lots of activities and treats for children, including a moonbounce, snow cones, face painting, dancing, a musical instrument petting zoo, arts and crafts, local dignitaries, story times and more! There will be a charge for some of the activities, with proceeds benefitting the educational programs at Patrick Henry Elementary School. It will be open from 1:00 to 6:30, in the parking lot behind Sicilian Pizza and Twisted Vines, which is accessible via an alley off Walter Reed.
