NRCA General Meeting Wednesday, October 26, 2016 Turnberry Tower, 1881 N Nash St 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. 1. The meeting was called to order by Paul Derby, President of the NRCA. Paul announced that after serving on the board since the formation of the association, he was not standing for reelection. His term was up and would not be running for re-election. Additionally, the NRCA board has two current vacancies and Paul asked the attendees if anyone would want to volunteer to serve on the board. We asked all attendance to introduce themselves. We had representatives from many north Rosslyn communities including, Highgate, Waterview, Turnberry, Atrium, Dakota, and Georgetown Vista. Areas of concern for those in attendance were generally, airplane noise, greenspace encroachment, and improving the board’s ability to communicate to residents of North Rosslyn and general administration issues of the NRCA board. There were two new volunteers to serve on the board: Atima Omara and Elena Chambers (thank you!) Additionally, current board members remaining on the board: Terri Prell, Mark Antell, Sylvia Kendra, and Bill Maron One board position remains unfilled. 2. Paul Derby distributed the treasurer’s report. 3. Recommend that the new board meet in December 2016 to plan work for 2017. Respectfully submitted, Sylvia Kendra Nov 4, 2016 Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/north...lyncivicassociation/This message has been edited. Last edited by: Paul Derby, | |||
