The following is a list of criminal activity provided by the Arlington County Police to our community for crimes occurring in Second Gistrict North for March, 2008: Burglaries are our most significant crime challenge this month. Please do not leave valuables in your vehicles. Call in suspicious persons / activity to the police. BURGLARY, 1100 block of N. Arlington Boulevard. Sometime between 8:30 pm on March 15, and 11:30 am on March 16, an unknown suspect entered an apartment and stole several items. GRAND LARCENY AUTO-ARREST, 1000 block of N. Barton Street. On March 17, at 2 am, officers observed a vehicle that had been reported stolen out of Washington D.C. Once stopped, two men were taken into custody. Items stolen from various CVS stores were found in the recovered vehicle. Jeffery Taylor, 53, of Washington D.C., was arrested for Grand Larceny Auto and Driving without an Operator's License, and was held on a $3000 bond. Alan Mollohan, 30, of Washington D.C., was arrested and released on a summons for Petit Larceny. BANK ROBBERY, 1700 block of N. Moore Street. At 1:30 pm, on March 19, a man handed a note to a bank teller, implied carrying a weapon, and robbed the teller. The suspect is described as a white Hispanic male, between 35 and 40 years old, 5'3", wearing a dark suit and fedora style hat. COMMERCIAL BURGLARY, 1900 block of N. Wilson Boulevard. Sometime between 8:30 pm on March 18, and 9:30 am on March 19, and unknown subject stole a laptop from a business. There was no sign of forced entry. Suspect description is unknown. MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 1500 block of N. Wilson Blvd. At approximately 12:01 am on March 23, during a fight inside a restaurant, a 31 year old man was punched and struck with a bottle. During the initial investigation, officers broke up another fight between 2 individuals and arrested one of them. Ken Nguyen Quach, 24, of Hyattsville, MD was charged with Assault and Battery and Disorderly conduct. The investigation of the original incident continues. BURGLARY-ARREST, 1600 block of N. Wilson Boulevard. On March 28, at 11:30 pm, a male entered an apartment that he did not reside in. The two residents did not know the suspect. While the female exited the apartment, the male restrained the suspect until police arrived. Jason Downs, 25, of no fixed address, was arrested for Breaking and Entering and held without bond. BURGLARY, 2500 block of N. Wilson Boulevard. On March 26, at 7 am, the victim discovered items had been removed from her vacated office. There are no known suspects. Brian Captain Brian M.
