I thought the Civic Association might want to know especially about the 1603 break-in. The Arlington County Police Department has released a new Crime Report containing Rosslyn activity: ARMED ROBBERY 1/10/2003, 1600 S. Oakland St., At 0015hrs, the victim, a 31yo male, was riding on a bicycle when two unknown subjects exited a parked vehicle and charged him. The subjects knocked the victim from his bicycle, and then one of the subjects produced a handgun and demanded money. The victim then gave the subjects his wallet. After being kicked in the head, the victim then got up and ran away. Subject #1 was described as a BM, 6'0", 200lbs, dark blue baseball hat, white shirt, blue jeans and Timberland boots. Subject #2 was described as a BM, 6'0", 200lbs, no facial hair, wearing a black shirt, black jeans and Timberland boots. RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY 1/9/2003, 1603 Colonial Terrace, Sometime between 0830hrs and 2059hrs on 01/9/03, an unknown subject(s) forced entry into a residence through a front door. Nothing appeared to be missing. COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 1/9/2003, 1611 N. Kent St., Sometime 1830hrs on 01/08/03 and 0700hrs on 01/09/03, an unknown subject(s) entered an office suite and stole three laptop computers and a green shoulder bag. There were no signs of forced entry. COMMERCIAL BURGLARY 1/9/2003, 2361 Jefferson Davis Hwy., Sometime between 1600hrs on 01/08/03 and 0800hrs on 01/09/03, an unknown subject(s) entered an office suite and stole 1 laptop computer, numerous rolls of postage stamps and a digital camera. There were no signs of forced entry. COMMERCIAL BURGLARY, 1/8/2003, 1555 Wilson Blvd., Sometime between 2330hrs on 01/07/03 and 0700hrs on 01/08/03, an unknown subject(s) entered an office suite through a rear fire door and stole two laptop computers and two computer docking stations.
