Crime Prevention Tips: There have been a number of bicycle larcenies and larcenies from auto throughout Arlington. Please remember to lock your car doors and keep valuables out of sight. In most of the larceny cases, car doors had been left unlocked. Several arrests have been made for larcenies from auto. When the arrests were made, Detectives watched suspects try car doors. If the doors were locked, the suspect went on to the next car. When the door was unlocked, the suspect entered the car and stole items. Please lock your car doors. Do not become a victim. School is just around the corner and while you are preparing to buy new school clothes and supplies for your children, don’t forget to prepare for a safe school year.
