Crystal Nosal, 571 221-1492 Man Charged in Apple Store Shooting ARLINGTON, VA.-The Arlington County Police Department Homicide/Robbery Unit has charged a suspect in the shooting that occurred in early July in North Arlington. On July 3, 2009, a man rang the doorbell at the service entrance to the Apple Store in the 2700 block of Clarendon Boulevard. An employee walked to the back of the store to answer the door and was subsequently shot by the suspect. On Friday, August 14, Byron A. Dean, 21, off no fixed address, was charged with Malicious Wounding, Abduction, Use of a Firearm in Commission of a Felony, and Possession of a Firearm as a Convicted Felon. Dean had been incarcerated on unrelated charges since July 12, 2009. He is being held without bond in the Arlington County Detention Center. Detective Crystal L.
