ARLINGTON, Va. - The Arlington County Police Department is investigating
a critical accident that occurred on Arlington Boulevard last night.

Shortly before 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 22, 2009, police were
called to eastbound Arlington Boulevard (Route 50) at N. Courthouse Road
for a single vehicle accident. A Honda Accord was found on the side of
the roadway. The driver, a 24 year old man, was transported to a local
hospital where he remains in critical condition.

The Arlington Police Department asks that any witnesses to the accident
