"County staff is reviewing the purpose and function of Arlington’s residential permit parking program. As the first major review in over 10 years, it is an opportunity to consider changes that improve the program’s efficiency, user experience, and fairness.

On-street parking is a valuable community resource that the County provides on many streets which must be managed for the greatest public benefit. Arlington’s long-standing program manages on-street parking utilization in 24 residential areas with the goal of helping to provide close and convenient street parking for residents in balance with other goals for County streets.

Our parking team will also be hitting the streets to collect feedback and answer questions at the following locations:

Columbia Pike Blues Festival – Saturday, June 16
Crystal City Farmers Market – Tuesday, June 19
Courthouse Farmers Market – Saturday, June 23
Sequoia – Monday, June 25
Lee Harrison Shopping Center – Wednesday, June 27
Shirlington Library – Thursday, June 28"
