We welcome Turnberry Towers and its new residents to North Rosslyn. However, there will be challenges and opportunities, both in physical construction, and eventual integration of the residents into our community. At the present time we are most concerned about construction with a particular eye on two issues: How will Nash Street 'work' after Turnberry is built? and, Should we be concerned about the use of blasting as the method for preparing the Turnberry foundation?

My condo association (Georgetown Vista) asked our consulting engineer (Steve Goughenour) whether we should be concerned that construction of Turnberry Towers would involve some foundation blasting. He indicated that this was a fairly non-intrusive technique and probably would not affect us. Mark Antell

Can anyone share some insight regarding the no parking stretch along Key Boulevard, particularly those spaces across from the Turnberry pit near Gold's Gym? Is there no parking EXCEPT for construction vehicles/workers' cars? Most days cars are there.
