2004 Budget

The Arlington County Board is now preparing to begin consideration of next year's budget. This is one of the critical times to provide input in the way in which county services will be allocated next year. Citizen participation is key to the development of the Consolidated Plan. North Rosslyn will be looking at various parts of the proposed budget, including the proposed budget for Rosslyn's supplemental services district. Your thoughts, comments, analysis and participation will be extremely helpful in this process. We will have opportunities to provide comments at the following venues:

Comments on Funding Allocations:

County Board Budget Hearing on Tuesday, March 25, at 7:00 p.m. at Thomas Jefferson Community Theater, 125 South Old Glebe Road. Submit written comments to County Board at 2100 Clarendon Blvd., Suite 300, Arlington, VA 22201, a week in advance of its April 26 meeting on the budget. Send e-mails to: countyboard@co.arlington.va.us.

Comments on Non-financial Issues:

1) Consolidated Plan Hearing on Thursday, March 20, at 7:00 p.m. in Conference Room C, 2100 Clarendon Blvd. Send e-mails to Fran Lunney, Coordinator of Housing Planning, at: flunne@co.arlington.va.us or phone her at (703) 228-3785.

2) County Board public hearing on Saturday, April 26, 9:00 a.m. in the County Board Room. Send e-mails to: countyboard@co.arlington.va.us.
