Kerley Tapped to Lead Civic Federation

Mike Kerley on June 2 was unanimously elected new president of the Arlington County Civic Federation.

Kerley will succeed Lawrence Mayer, who has served as Civic Federation president for three years. Mayer last June handed the gavel over to incoming president Frances Finta, but upon her death, he returned as president to fill out the remainder of the year.

Elected as vice president in 2009-10 was Mark Antell. Nominated to serve new terms were treasurer Eileen Williams and secretary Sharon Rogers.

Elected to serve on the executive committee were Jerry Auten, Larry Finch, Stan Karson, Peter Olivere and Terri Prell.
