Trailer Permit Appeal to be heard on 11/14
Hi All,
About a half dozen of us formally complained about the permit given for the replacement trailers. Our complaint argues that:
1. The area is zoned green space. Those trailers are a sorry excuse for green space.
2. The new permit is for a 'temporary' installation of trailers. How long is 'temporary'? Does it mean, "till they fallen apart?"
I've received news that this complaint will be heard before the Board of Zoning Appeals on the 14th of this month. I'll report more on this shortly.

This Wednesday evening, Nov 14, several of us will speak before the Arlington Board of Zoning Appeals requesting retraction, or at least a time limit, for the permanent 'temporary permit' for trailers covering Wilson Field.

The hearing will be held in the County Board Hearing Room (3rd floor, 2100 Clarendon Blvd). They have a long agenda. Our turn will likely come up around 9:30. Think about coming out... to speak or just to lend visible support. Your presence will certainly be helpful.
