Community Budget Forum to Discuss FY 2012 Budget
Dear Arlingtonian:

County Manager Barbara Donnellan and senior management invite the public to a forum on strategies for balancing the FY 2012 budget.

Although our economic situation is stronger than most in the nation – and our real estate values are stabilizing -- Arlington County and Arlington Public Schools will face a budget gap for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2011. The County Manager will be making budget recommendations to the County Board and is seeking the public’s input as she works to balance the budget.

What:
Community Budget Forum to Discuss FY 2012 Budget

When:
December 2, 2010, 7-9 p.m.

Where:
Central Library Auditorium
1015 N. Quincy Street, Arlington

Getting there:
Central Library is accessible from both the Virginia Square and Ballston Metro stations (Orange line). Visit commuterpage.com for many other transit options. You can also park in the Central Library parking lot or underground garage; street parking also available.

Translation Services:
Anyone requiring translation services in Sign Language, Spanish, or other languages should call the County Manager's Office at 703-228-3120 -- at least three days prior to the meeting -- to make the request.

All,

The December meeting of the Arlington County Civic Federation is another forum to hear/question the 2012 County budget. Barbara Donellan (County Manager) and Dr. Patrick K. Murphy (APS Superintendent) will present and respond to questions.

The forum is scheduled for Tuesday 12/7, 7:30PM, at the Virginia Hospital Center / Hazel Conference Center, 1701 N. George Mason Drive.
