Over hills and dales, along high views and back trails, we'll follow in the footsteps of four centuries of Arlingtonians, from Fairfax Parish rectors residing at Glebe House to freed slaves settling Hall's Hill,
young families tending cherry orchards to volunteer firefighters serving the community, 1950s students desegregating Stratford Junior High to present-day neighbors gathering for a Walkabout!
WHAT: High View Park/Waverly Hills/Cherrydale Walkabout
WHEN: Sunday, May 18, 2014 / 3:00-5:00 p.m. (RAIN OR SHINE)
WHERE: Meet outside Langston-Brown Community Center, 2121 N. Culpeper St., Arlington
WHO: Open to the public, all ages (dogs on leashes too!)
