Just received the following notice/invitation from Stan Karson of RAFOM (RAFOM is the neighborhood just south or ours. Stan tells me that North Rosslyn residents are welcome to this and any other RAFOM affair.)

"As we do every year, RAFOM is holding a Candidates Night so our residents can meet and hear the candidates for public office who will be on the November ballot. This year it takes place on Wednesday, October 26, at 7 PM, in The Belvedere Condominium Party Room, 1600 N. Oak Street, one block south of Clarendon Blvd.

We have invited the local candidates for State Senate, House of Delegates, County Board, School Board, Sheriff, Commonwealth's Attorney, Commissioner of the Revenue and Treasurer. Only the first three positions are in contest, with the remainder unopposed.

Just a reminder that Candidates Night is in less than two weeks! NRCA will be co-hosting this event with RAFOM.
