The North Rosslyn Civic Association (NRCA) and The Radnor / Ft. Myer Heights Civic Association (RAFOM) are cosponsoring Candidates Night Thursday, October 13 at 7 PM. This event will be held in the Belvedere Condominium Party Room,1600 N Oak Street, one block south of Clarendon Blvd (one block past Target / District Taco)

Candidates for the following offices will participate:
Congress (8th Congressional District)
Arlington County Board
Arlington School Board

This event provides you with a great opportunity before Election Day to hear and question candidates, especially on local issues of importance, to help decide how you wish to vote and be represented in local and state government.

Do we know which Candidates are planning to attend?

I noticed that Charles Hernick has a fund raiser scheduled until 7:30 tomorrow night, and was wondering if he and other Candidates were planning to skip this event.

Thanks,
Mark

Mark,

Traditionally this has been a well attended event with dozens of citizens and a full slate of candidates.

This is a Forum which, similar to the recent US Presidential debate, encourages audience questions.

I spoke earlier this evening with Stan Karson, President of the Radnor / Fort Myer Heights (RAFOM) Civic Association. At that time he mentioned that our incumbent Representative to the US Congress, Don Beyer, was definitely coming. I'd be surprised if other candidates for this seat (Charles Hernick, and Julio Gracia) declined to attend.
