As part of its work on PLACE – Participation, Leadership and Civic Engagement, the County Board is launching Open Door Mondays, providing an ongoing opportunity for community members to chat directly with a Board member about Arlington issues of concern to them.

These sessions will be held on Monday evenings from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at locations around Arlington. The schedule is on the County website:Open Door Mondays

The County Board's "Open Door Monday" sessions are part of Chair Mary Hynes' PLACE -- Participation, Leadership And Civic Engagement -- initiative. County residents are welcome to attend any session to speak directly with County Board Members on any topic. Just come to the scheduled session -- you do not need an appointment.

Closest to our neighborhood will be the meetings on the "5th Monday of the month" (Jan. 30, Apr. 30, July 30, Oct. 29),which will be held at:
