As part of the approval package for 1812 Moore (a rebuild to be located just north of Metro), Monday Property agreed to rent and provide the old Newseum space for an arts venue.

So far the strongest contendors for the space are The Corcoran and a local arts consortium.

The Rosslyn Business Improvement District (BID) has put together a civic panel to evaluate and recommend which group should manage the space.
(They also will likely contribute some dollars toward the project. A laudable use of BID funds I think.)
Our own Jennifer Zeien has been selected as co-chair of the civic panel (along with Steve Luchter of the Arlington Citizens for the Arts).
