Public Meetings on National Airport Aircraft Noise Study
The Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments' Committee on
Noise Abatement and Aviation at National and Dulles Airports (CONAANDA) and
the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) will be sponsoring
public meetings to inform area citizens on efforts to develop a new noise
compatibility plan for National Airport. These meetings are intended to
solicit citizen input on what has been done to date and what needs to be
done. It is important to voice your opinion at this time. Although there
will be two more sets of public meetings, the first one will have the
greatest impact on the direction of the study, so be sure your community
states its concerns, because once this study is completed, there may be
little change for the next 10 to 15 years!

The two meetings will be held at the following locations:

June 18, 2003

Walt Whitman Middle School Lecture Hall
2500 Parkers Lane
Alexandria, VA 22306
