Community input regarding new construction for a school at the Wilson Site
Last December the Arlington County School Board approved construction for a new school at the Wilson School Site. Arlington Public Schools has set up a "Building Level Planning Committee" and Arlington County has a "Public Facilities Review Committee", both of which provide input into the process of making the new school a reality. Since the Wilson School site is located within the North Rosslyn boundaries, the North Rosslyn Civic Association is allowed two representatives.

Carroll Colley and Paul Mulligan have both volunteered to represent the North Rosslyn community on these two key planning committees.

Your input to Carroll and Paul is welcomed and encouraged in shaping the new school. You may post your ideas and comments as responses to this discussion and Carroll and Paul along with your neighbors will receive your ideas. Carroll and Paul will post what they learn and what areas they need input here on this forum.

Other North Rosslyn residents and nearby residents associated with homeowner associations and other community associations are also involved with the Wilson School planning. Your comments and suggestions will most likely be viewed by these individuals, too, as well as Arlington County staff, Arlington Public Schools staff and the media.
