Have new or gently used clothes and looking for a way to give back?

The Clothesline for Arlington Kids is a local nonprofit started by an Arlington mom to collect new, and clean, gently used quality clothing from the community, and distribute it free of charge to low-income school-aged children in a welcoming space.

The Clothesline is currently running a Back to School campaign. Please see the attached images for further information. Additionally, families that need clothing can complete an online form: in English http://www.clotheslinearlingto...actless-clothing.../ and in Spanish http://www.clotheslinearlingto.../formulario-para.../.

Moreover, here is a letter from the Founders of The Clothesline:

"Despite back-to-school looking a little different this year, kids are still outgrowing their clothes and shoes! The Clothesline for Arlington Kids is ready to help low-income families keep their kids warm - free of charge. This fall and winter, we expect to provide assistance to over 500 kids. One grateful client let us know, "Because of the pandemic, we need money for rent and food...Now, I do not have to buy clothes anymore."
However, we need your support to make this happen! There are many ways you can help:
• Donate Funds: Your monetary donation helps purchase new underwear and socks as well as cover the regular expenses of our volunteer-run non-profit. Importantly, a recurring donation helps us to plan for future growth in services. Click here to support The Clothesline.
• Donate Clothing: Your kids' new or used clothes in excellent condition can find a new home with a neighborhood family in need. New criteria and new drop-off locations can be found in this flyer.
• Shop our Target Wish List: We have a wish list with Target for some of the regular items that we give away new - as well as items that are often in short supply. Purchase high need items here.
• Support us through Amazon Smiles: Add us to your Amazon Smiles shopping account and support us with every purchase you make on Amazon. Select "The Clothesline for Arlington Kids" at smile.amazon.com.
Help our neighborhood kids stay warm this fall while giving their families much need support as they face uncertain times. We continue to see an increase in demand for services this fall.
Thanks!
