Growing Vegetables in the Fall




VCE Master Gardeners of Arlington and Alexandria will present a program on vegetable gardening in the fall on Thursday, September 4, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Fairlington Community Center, 3308 S. Stafford St., Arlington. The program will cover crops that can and should be grown in the fall, fall gardening tasks that will help prepare for next year’s spring and summer gardens, and ways to extend the harvest season into the colder months.

The program is free and open to the public, but advance registration is requested. To register, call 703-228-6414 or e-mail mgarlalex@gmail.com.
