Candidate's night

The North Rosslyn Civic Association and our neighboring civic association, RAFOM, are hosting the annual Candidates Night. Two weeks from tonight, on Tuesday, October 13, at 7 PM, you will have opportunity to hear and question the candidates for two open County Board seats and candidates for the School Board.

On the same night CNN is airing the Democratic presidential candidates debate. However, that will not air until 9 PM. Since only six Arlington candidates will speak to us, we will conclude our meeting before 8:45, probably no later than 8:30. You will have time to return home to watch CNN at 9 PM.

We look forward to seeing you Tuesday, October 13, at 7 PM in the Belvedere Condominium Party Room, 1600 N Oak Street, one block south of Clarendon Blvd.

Local environmental groups are sponsoring this forum to ask the candidates positions on "park and environmental issues."

The 2015 "Parks and Natural Resources County Board Candidates Forum" will be held 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 7 at the Arlington Trades Center, Conference Room 2700 S. Taylor Street (Shirlington), Arlington VA

This evening, Tuesday, October 13, at 7 PM Arlington County Board and School Board candidates will speak at North Rosslyn and RAFOM Civic Associations Candidates Night in The Belvedere Condominium Party Room,1600 N. Oak Street, one block south of Clarendon Blvd.

This meeting will adjourn by 8:30 so those who wish may watch the CNN Democratic debate that airs later tonight at 9 PM.

It is important that the two County Board candidates who will be elected next month, and the School Board candidate as well, will learn of our area's concerns through your questions Tuesday evening

Please join with your neighbors for this opportunity to interact with the candidates that wish to represent us as Arlington County and Schools leaders.
