Leaf vacuum trucks hit the streets Monday, November 14!

Vacuum Collection: November 14 - December 24, 2011

Crews will complete two passes through each neighborhood between November and December, Monday through Saturday, except Thanksgiving Day.
Look for large, bright yellow and orange Leaf Collection signs in your neighborhood two to three days before crews arrive.
Check email or call the Leaf Collection Information Line for schedule updates at 703.228.6565.
Plan accordingly with your contract lawn service to have leaves raked before scheduled pick-up or use the County’s leaf bag collection service.

Vacuum Collection Schedule

To determine when the leaf vacuum will be in your neighborhood look up your civic association below. The date under which your civic association is listed is when the vacuum will start it's pass through your neighborhood [[North Rosslyn is listed as November 14]]. Be sure to have your leaves ready the night before the vacuum is scheduled to be in your area.

You can track the progress of our leaf trucks on our Facebook page! Click on the "Vacuum Leaf Progress Map" tab on the left to see where the vacuum trucks have vacuumed.

We will send out the schedule for the next wave of vacuuming on November 18.

If the vacuum collection schedule does not meet your needs, or if you miss the first vacuum pass, residents have the option to bag their leaves for the weekly bag collection or wait for the second vacuum pass.

Arlington County has published dates for the second round of leaf collection. North Rosslyn collection is scheduled sometime between December 5-8. So if you wish to have your leaves vacuumed move them curbside so the truck can vacuum. Here is the web site: Arlington County Leaf Collection
