Dear Rosslyn Resident/Commuter: Did you know that in the near future Monday Properties, at the direction of Arlington County and WMATA, will be removing the escalator connecting the Metro lobby with the Skywalk above it? The plan is to replace this escalator with a granite staircase. This escalator is a vital link on the route that many of us use to commute to and from our jobs or homes to the west of the rail station without crossing busy Ft. Myer Drive. Help keep Rosslyn pedestrian-friendly. Write to the Arlington County Board and ask them to keep Rosslyn's Metro Skywalk Escalator. I'm attaching a sample letter for your convenience.
