Adam CarpenterMetrobus and Yesterday's Snow Storm
Dear neighbors,
I received this message through Arlington CERT. The office of emergency management is asking for everyone who is able to safely pitch in to help clear out bus stops to help facilitate the return of bus service and keep as many cars off the road as possible until the roads can be properly cleared:
While we're all digging out from Saturday's record-breaking snowstorm, the County is encouraging folks to use public transportation so the roads are clear for plows and other snow removal equipment. That means the bus stops need to be cleared as soon as possible. If you live near a bus stop, please help your neighbors and the County by taking a few minutes today to clear the snow from the stop so that commuters and others have a safe place to stand while waiting for the bus
Thanks for helping make your community safer!
