TONIGHT: Realize Rosslyn Building Massing Subcommittee
Tonight is the final Realize Rosslyn Subcommittee meeting on Building Height + Massing.

When: December 15, 2014 @ 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm
Where: Room 311, 2100 Clarendon Boulevard

The Building Height and Massing subcommittee has met four times so far to tackle some hefty issues, focused on developing a new building heights policy for Rosslyn. Key topics addressed in these discussions include: potential building height limits; the economic feasibility of redevelopment; potential implications on a better balance across land uses; pros and cons of renovation compared with redevelopment; and interest in having any restrictions or incentives be as fair and equitable as possible.

Please reply to this thread with any comments on building heights and massing that I should address at this meeting. Feel free to attend as well.

Hi Katie,
Consider asking that density offsets, AKA community benefits, be used to pay for a new fire station. For sure those new buildings are going to be served by it, so why shouldn't they help build it?
Peace,
Mark
